Metal wall cabinet for an AED, with a viewing window that shows the device in place, an emergency key and an opening alarm that sounds when the door is opened. The cabinet is the wall station that turns a defibrillator into a device everyone can see and locate.
Why it matters
Israel's law on placing resuscitation devices in public places (2008) requires the public places it defines to keep a defibrillator. A complete AED station has three parts: the device, an accessible and visible wall station, and signage.
Who it is for
Schools, halls and stadiums, office towers, plants, shopping centers, synagogues and community centers; any place that installs a defibrillator and needs it accessible and protected.
Good to know
The cabinet is sold separately from the defibrillator and the signage. A GUARDIAN chip can be attached to manage the device's pad and battery expiry in the system.
